Can you guess this man's weight on both photos?

Can you guess this man's weight on both photos?

I bet you didn’t guess he’s at the same weight in both pictures.

160lbs on the left and 160lbs on the right.

What does this tell you?

Many of you have been conditioned by the weight loss industry to focus on the scale weight.

If the scale goes down = success

If the scale doesn’t go down = failure

So you start a program and 3 things can happen:

1. Scale goes down

2. Scale goes up

3. Scale stays the same

We associate success only with the scale going down.

And if the scale doesn’t go down, or stays the same, then we think that it’s not working.

Or we think:

“This works for some people, but it doesn’t work for me.”

No!

Look at this businessman.

160lbs vs 160lbs

If he only operated from the scale weight he wouldn’t be where he is today.

Studies show the number one reason (63%) why people give up with their weight loss is because of weight fluctuations.

There’s a lot more than the scale that is key to your progress.

1. Your progress photos

2. DEXA Scan

3. Your belt / jeans size

4. How your clothes fit (shirts, suits, etc.)

5. The scale

Tracking progress scientifically doesn’t happen one dimensional, it happens multidimensional!

The next time you feel frustrated with your scale weight, come back to this post.

Read it.

There’s no reason to freak out if the scale isn’t moving for a few days.

Winners don’t quit and quitters don’t win!
