Caryn Gunter Appointed as Executive Director for ACEC-NB, ACEC-PEI, and ACEC-NL

The Association of Consulting Engineering Companies - Canada (ACEC) is pleased to announce the appointment of Caryn Gunter as the new Executive Director for ACEC - NB , ACEC - PEI , and ACEC-NL .

Caryn, a life-long resident of New Brunswick, brings a strong background that combines her engineering background with leadership roles in provincial government. After completing her studies in civil engineering and master's degree in transportation engineering, at the University of New Brunswick (UNB), she accumulated a wealth of experience at the New Brunswick Department of Transportation and Infrastructure, where she held several key positions. Most recently, she served as the Department's Alignment Champion and Director of Performance Excellence.

With a proven track record in strategic planning, project management, advocacy, process improvement, negotiation, and change management, Caryn is well-equipped to lead ACEC-NB, ACEC-PEI, and ACEC-NL in their mission to advance the consulting engineering profession.

“I am eager to leverage my skills and experience to support the mission and work of ACEC,” Caryn said. “I am confident that my passion for enhancing engineering practices and stakeholder relationships will be a valuable addition to the Atlantic region.”
