CAUSES OF CONFLICT IN AND AMONG NATIONS AND THE RESOLUTION MECHANISM

There is so much conflict across the globe. No country is immune to this malady. These conflicts lead to wars, hatred and bitterness. In many countries, many parts want to go their separate ways. They allow religion [ which is the opium of the people], tribe and other mundane factors to overcome their emotions. Humans navigated from perfection into imperfection and so we do not think and feel the same way. There are certain cultural factors that attempt to bind people together; but the cracks remain. Come to think of it: conflict exist everywhere----in the family, in the church, in the mosque...yes, everywhere. Brothers fight brothers, parents at loggerhead with their own children, etc. The root causes are perceived unfairness, and injustice. I use the word perceived deliberately. As long as we see things differently and lack the ability to harmonize, conflict will persist. The solution, fortunately, is very simple....love. Love covers a multitude of sins. Love places the interest of others above yours. Love is about forgiveness. Love does not keep account of injury. Practically, let there be fairness and justice. Deemphasize race, religion and tribe. These are not important. We are no different from one another. We are all humans. If we can love our dogs, why can't we love ourselves? Let there be fairness and justice in all we do. Where there is no justice, there cannot be peace. Peace is a product of fairness and justice. This is the golden rule. Apply it and enjoy the magic.
