From Dreaming Big to Making Impact – 2024 Highlights!

As 2024 comes to a close, I’ve been reflecting on the incredible energy, insights, and moments of transformation we’ve shared—from the Idea to Impact IgniteHer Challenge to our End-of-Year Celebration.

Let’s start with YOU—the incredible women and allies who show up, take action, and inspire those around you. Whether you attended every session, joined for a single conversation, or supported from afar, you’ve been part of something special.

Idea to Impact IgniteHer Challenge: A Journey of Aha Moments 💡

Over 5 days, we explored how to dream big, navigate our potential, and step into our power—using technology as a bridge, not a barrier.

Here are just a few takeaways we uncovered together - guided by our signature DREAM Compass™:

✨ Day 1: DreamScope: Unleash Your Imaginatio:

Many of us realized just how far we’d pushed aside our own dreams—until we dared to visualize a bold new future. Using tools like Ikigai, a Japanese framework for understanding your reason for being, combined with AI, we were able to dive deep into our purpose.

One participant shared, “I didn’t think I had permission to dream this big. Now I see what’s possible.”

✨ Day 2: RoadMap: Navigate Your Potential

To get us started, we built on our discoveries of purpose and reason to identify problems we could solve, and used AI to help us define potential niches and people we could serve.

We learned that the path to impact isn’t “one size fits all.” When we embrace systems, tools, and tech that fit us, overwhelm turns into clarity.

✨ Day 3: EmpowerMind: Unlock Your Strengths

Strengths aren’t just skills—they’re superpowers. The challenge lies in owning them. We explored the concept of Feminine Skills (leadership skills often misnamed as "soft skills") and their importance in business, tech and life.

We also mapped this back to our purpose and niche to see how we could best apply our superpowers and who else we needed.

One woman’s lightbulb moment: “When I saw how my strengths connected to my purpose, I finally felt confident in my next steps.”

✨ Day 4: AmplifyVoice: Speak Your Truth

This day started with some brave, honest and vulnerable shares. Sharing your truth takes courage, but your voice can inspire, connect, and create change.

From crafting personal brands to exploring platforms like Canva, websites, and social media, we learned to amplify who we are and what we stand for.

✨ Day 5 -MasterStride: Seize Your Destiny

Your future doesn’t have to be crystal clear—but having a vision creates momentum. One attendee said, “For the first time, I have a future plan that feels exciting and doable.”

These “aha moments” remind us that tech isn’t the enemy—it’s the bridge that takes your ideas from overwhelm to impact.

At our EOY Celebration with Women in Architecture (WIA) Australia , we gathered to explore “Unseen Opportunities in Business and Tech.” The evening was filled with wisdom, laughter, and a collective reminder of what happens when we show up for ourselves and each other. The event was a testament to the power of collaboration, representation, and bold action.
