Competence-confidence matrix to manage feedback
Something not everyone might know is that I love investing time in being a #facilitator #coach for Boston Consulting Group (BCG) training!
On average I invested over 200 hours per year in #trainings as I truly belive that #people are the main asset of every business, (in #consulting probably the only one!) and it is key to help them #learn and #grow!
When people ask me why, very often I say that I love being a #trainer because:
1) it is an activity that provide me with a lot og energy;
2) everytime I learn at least as much of what I #teach.
Today I had a great example of this second point, as we where disucssing with #ProjectLeader and #Managers how to manage feedback (both upward and downward) especially when you need to tackle critical situations.
I want to thank Sebastian Gutierrez Turbay who introduced me to a very simple scheme: 2x2 competence - confidence matrix: what do you think about it?
I love the simplicity and actionable framework, which I tried to represent integrating actions needed from the #leadership (in brackets) to help #leaders effectively managing the #feedback process to help #individual and #teams!
