Confidence-Building Foster Love Shopping Sprees This December 2024
The Holiday Shopping Sprees have begun! All month long, volunteers will join foster youth on exciting trips to pick out brand-new outfits tailored to their style! For many of these young adults, this will be their first experience shopping for new, never-worn clothing, as agencies often depend on second-hand donations. We’re thrilled to host Foster Love Shopping Sprees this December. These events provide more than stylish new wardrobes—they offer a priceless boost in confidence. Each child gets the opportunity to express their individuality through clothing that reflects their personality, giving them the empowering feeling of being comfortable in their own skin.
The Sprees instill confidence, a sense of value, and the empowerment that comes with being seen and supported.
December 2024 Shopping Spree Schedule
We partner with amazing stores like H&M, Macy’s, and JD Sports to make these sprees happen. Here’s where we’ll be:
Each location will welcome foster children and their personal shoppers for a private event that lets them shop ’til they drop, all in a supportive and fun environment.

What Are Foster Love Shopping Sprees?
Shopping Sprees offer foster youth a rare and meaningful opportunity to select their own clothing, accessories, and hygiene products in a way that prioritizes their individuality and dignity. These events are designed to be both empowering and enjoyable, providing foster kids with a sense of normalcy and we might often take for granted.
How Shopping Sprees Work
To make the day special, we partner with stores to host private shopping experiences exclusively for foster youth. At each event, every child is paired with a personal shopper who helps them navigate the store, choosing the items they love—from tops and bottoms, to hats, shoes, and outerwear!
This one-on-one interaction ensures that every child feels supported, heard, and celebrated. The chance to select items that match their style not only meets practical needs but also boosts self-esteem.
We partner with large stores known for their wide variety of styles and sizes, making it easy to find options for kids of all ages. From trendy picks at H&M to timeless looks at Macy’s, there’s something for everyone.
