Cooking Up Sustainability: A Peek Inside Our Eco-Friendly Factory (sort of a product Kitchen for us!)

Discover sustainable appliance innovation at our eco-friendly factory, minimizing environmental footprint and conserving resources

In today's world, sustainability isn't just a buzzword, it's a way of life, and we have taken it very seriously for years. As a leading cookware and kitchenware manufacturer, we understand the importance of minimizing our environmental footprint at every stage of production. Step into our factory, our innovation kitchen, and you'll discover a world of innovative practices aimed at reducing waste, conserving resources, and preserving the planet for future generations.

Recycling for sustainable manufacturing process

1. Scrap Metal Recycling

At our factory, every scrap of metal counts. Instead of letting it go to waste, we diligently collect and send it to foundries for recycling. By doing so, we not only reduce landfill waste but also conserve valuable resources, making a significant contribution to the circular economy. We recycle 700 MT of aluminum and 600 MT of steel every year.

2. Embracing Recycled Materials

Sustainability is ingrained in every aspect of our manufacturing process. We prioritize the use of recycled plastic in internal components where food contact isn't a concern. This commitment to recycled materials not only reduces our dependence on virgin plastics but also helps mitigate environmental pollution. We recycle 400 MT of plastic every year.

3. Eco-Friendly Packaging

Our dedication to sustainability extends to our packaging materials. We opt for recycled paper for our boxes, minimizing the demand for new paper products and reducing deforestation. In house, we recycle, 400 MT of paper per year. By choosing eco-friendly packaging, we ensure that our commitment to sustainability extends from factory to doorstep.

4. Tackling Food Waste

Waste reduction isn't limited to our manufacturing processes – it's a philosophy that permeates every aspect of our operations. In our factory canteens, where over 5500 people eat thrice a day, we implement strategies to minimize food wastage, such as portion control, donation programs for excess food, and composting initiatives. By maximizing the use of resources, we strive to set an example for responsible consumption.

5. Harnessing Renewable Energy

As part of our sustainability efforts, we've invested in renewable energy sources to power our operations. Our factory is equipped with solar panels and wind turbines, harnessing the power of nature to meet our energy needs. By reducing our reliance on fossil fuels, we lower our carbon footprint and contribute to a cleaner, greener future.

We utilize 57% renewable energy in our production of which we harness 3.06 MWp from solar and 2 MW from wind turbines.

6. Water Conservation

Water is a precious resource, and we're committed to using it responsibly. Through water recycling initiatives, we minimize water consumption in our manufacturing processes, ensuring that every drop counts. By reusing and treating water on-site, we reduce our environmental impact and contribute to the preservation of freshwater resources. Presently, our in-house ETP and STP process over 50K Liters of water per day.

Prioritizing environmental stewardship in our processes

At our factory, sustainability isn't just a goal – it's a way of life. From scrap metal recycling to renewable energy adoption, we're committed to minimizing waste, conserving resources, and prioritizing environmental stewardship in everything we do. By embracing eco-friendly practices, we're not only shaping the future of manufacturing but also demonstrating our dedication to a healthier planet. Join us on our journey towards a more sustainable tomorrow.

Dear Stovekraft team, Good evening, I am Muthusamy from Guduvanchery, Chennai. I purchased an Egnite Induction Cooktop from Senthil Stores near my location on December 9th of last year. However, within a month of purchase, the induction cooktop stopped working. Upon returning it to the shop, I was informed that the service would be completed after 2 weeks. After the repair, the cooktop malfunctioned again within a week, specifically with lower heat issues. I returned it to the shop once more, and after another 2 weeks, I received the product back. Unfortunately, within the next 2 weeks, the induction cooktop ceased functioning yet again. When I approached the shop for the third time, they were unresponsive and connected me with the dealer, who also provided a very poor response. They advised me to raise a complaint through the StoveKraft WhatsApp booking details. I submitted the complaint on April 2nd, and while some members of the service centre team contacted me, they simply directed me to return the product to the shop. However, to date, I have not received my induction cooktop back from the shop. Every day, they inform me that the service has not been completed. I urgently request your immediate attention to this matters
