🏡 𝑹𝒆𝒎𝒐𝒕𝒆 𝒘𝒐𝒓𝒌 𝒊𝒔 𝒉𝒆𝒓𝒆 𝒕𝒐 𝒔𝒕𝒂𝒚.

Summer of 2023, I finished up an on-site commissioning project and I stayed at Courtyard by #Marriott. The #audiovisual project was a success and the hotel stay was pleasant too.

At the back of the hotel, there was a fire pit. A great way to wind down. One night while listening to the crickets. Several other hotel guess joined me. Someone started the question of asking what you do, and we went around the pit answering. There was a traveling nurse, an architect, a technician working for Walmart and several other professionals. But there was one thing that everyone had in common. Everybody worked 100% remotely.

Technology is always changing.

At every #audiovisual trade show. There’s always new black 📦 or virtual boxes.  Continuing the old way of working with modern gadgets makes no sense. Companies that are stuck in the past will lose brilliant talent and become part of history. Embracing this remote way of working opens up endless opportunities and flexibility. Let's continue to support and adapt to this fantastic trend.

𝑨𝒕 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑯𝒐𝒕𝒆𝒍:

There was a sign next to the fire pit that said, beware of bear. Perhaps they need to add, ‘s’. I did see a bear, and it was just a few feet away from me one night. It was in no rush of leaving and I snapped up 10 pictures. Take a look at my Instagram feed for some pictures of the fire pit and hotel.
