CSBJ Empowers Education in Astipalea with Donation of Laptops

Computational and Structural Biotech Journal (CSBJ) proudly announces its recent sponsorship of essential computer infrastructure for the Gymnasium of Astipalea, an island school in Greece, as part of its "return-to-the-society" campaign. The donation includes six laptops that are now enhancing the learning experience for 67 schoolchildren, 16 teachers, and 30 adult students at the Gymnasium of Astipalea.

The headmaster of the Gymnasium of Astipalea, Labrini Grigori, expressed heartfelt gratitude for the generous offer, highlighting the positive impact on the school's educational environment. The laptops have become integral tools for both students and teachers, fostering innovation and new methodologies in their pursuit of creating smart island schools and promoting sustainability.

"We want small islands like Astipalea thriving instead of shrinking. Your kind offer of the 6 laptops helps us achieve the aforementioned goals," said Labrini Grigori.

The Gymnasium of Astipalea is known for its active participation in environmental projects, Erasmus+ initiatives, literature competitions, and astronomy projects, aligning with CSBJ's commitment to making a positive contribution to society.

The laptops have been utilized across various subjects, enhancing everyday lessons with educational videos, games, and participation in educational platforms. The social impact of CSBJ's donation extends beyond the classroom, reaching 67 teenagers aged 12-18, 30 adult students, and 23 teachers who have integrated technology into their daily teaching practices.

"We are profoundly obliged to you, and we wish that this cooperation between us is going to continue in the future," said Labrini Grigori, emphasizing the importance of the partnership between CSBJ and the Gymnasium of Astipalea.

CSBJ remains dedicated to supporting educational initiatives that contribute to the betterment of communities. This sponsorship reflects our commitment to empowering future generations through technology and education.
