Major Städel Exhibition: "Rembrandt’s Amsterdam. Golden Times?"

A highlight this autumn is the major exhibition "Rembrandt’s Amsterdam. Golden Times?"  at the Städel Museum. The exhibition focuses on the life and work of the famous painter Rembrandt and explores the cultural and social conditions of 17th century Amsterdam. Visitors will have the opportunity to view some of Rembrandt’s most significant works up close and gain deep insight into the golden age of Dutch painting. Schirn Kunsthalle Frankfurt

The Schirn Kunsthalle is renowned for its innovative exhibitions of contemporary art. In autumn 2024, the Schirn will host an exhibition of the artist Carol Rama. Palmengarten

The Frankfurt Palmengarten is a place of peace and relaxation. In autumn, the garden is ablaze with a stunning array of colours. Since 2012, the former Science Garden of Goethe University, the Botanical Garden Frankfurt, has been part of the Palmengarten and is now managed by the City of Frankfurt. Jazz on the Third and 6 years New Old Town

This year, there is even more to celebrate: alongside 34 years of German reunification, the 6th anniversary of the new Frankfurt Old Town takes centre stage. Six years after its inauguration, it shines in full splendour and becomes the vibrant setting for a special gathering. On the 3rd and 4th of October 2024, "Jazz zum Dritten" and the Old Town anniversary combine to create a unique experience that blends tradition and modernity.
