Dashboards are just arrangements of information. How the information gets to dashboard is something LLMs are useful for but no one’s ditching charts and visualisations for reporting.

My thought is that dashboards often fail because they overwhelm users with too much complexity. I think there’s a harmonious coexistence with the two. Without a dashboard, particularly in industrial and construction sectors, one may not always know the right questions to ask. These fields are deeply experiential, and in my view, knowledge transfer cannot solely rely on ‘language AI.’
