DEAR LINKEDIN COMMUNITY,
I am looking for creative ways to help kids that have had less opportunity, and are in need this holiday season. So, I am asking for some guidance from my LinkedIn connections to see what you may be doing.
If you would, please comment below and let me know which organizations are worth donating too that are really making a difference in the lives of our youth as I would like to make a donation. Along with the donations I am also looking for ways to get involved in the community here in San Diego too.
It will not be life changing money. However, as I have been fortunate in my career I feel it is my time to start giving back, and if I can reach even a small group of people it will be a win.
Thank you!
P.S. I realize that the holidays are not the only time this should be done and plan to devote more time to it in the future.

7yHi Steven, lots of excellent organizations that support youth in the San Diego area! (CollectiveAccess is a good one!) You might consider further defining how you'd like to help, what needs you are most inspired to provide: housing, education, financial literacy, opportunity, medical, mentoring, etc. Lots of great questions to ask yourself! In my experience with this question, the greater your clarity, the greater the impact you'll make both on the organization, and your own family!

7ySteven, I am apart of a non-profit here in San Diego called The Collective Access, I would love to tell you more about how we are teaching kids how to network, build relationships and to be the vessel and foundation to their success. We are always looking for other mentors to get involved in what we are doing. Please check us out and send me a note if you would like to know more! Looking forward to hearing from you.
