Design Trends 2023
I used 2 of the mentioned trends ;)

Design Trends 2023

This first one is one of my favorite trends!

The Return of the Sans Serif

These are just a few examples of some sans serif fonts.

After years of serif dominance the trend is starting to turn back towards dependable sans serif typefaces, well-liked by graphic designers, minimalists and accessibility-informed web designers.

Also, serif logos are beginning to reach overload point, which is why designers are starting to find freshness in sans fonts.

Sans serifs not only support a clean, minimalist style for branding, but they also improve legibility and accessibility on apps and websites.

As more brands tune into the need to be fully accessible, we can predict sans serifs to take on a more leading role online.

Liquid Gradients

I'm starting to notice this trend everywhere.

Glowing and laid-back, liquid gradients are the latest way to give a spin on the gradient color trend. Liquid gradients feel more free than their perfectly blended ancestors.

These artistic color effects give quick interest to packaging and backgrounds, or why not lend websites a sci-fi spin by dipping typography into a liquid gradient effect?

Photographic Branding

"People First" trend

Illustration has enjoyed a huge comeback in recent years, but in the branding area it faces stiff competition from photography, which will be used to give brand identities a human quality in 2023.

An example is PayPal’s choice to refresh their branding with a ‘people first’ set of campaign imagery. In 2023 branding trends will steer towards photography as a more tangible medium, and one that convert seamlessly to motion video for ad campaigns and social media.
