Diaries, scraps of paper, and having an extra special Christmas...

Are you a diary person?

Do you religiously scribble down every date, event and memory (with underlines and even asterisks), so there's no chance you'll ever forget?

Or are you a scraps of paper liberally spread around yourself, your home, or your workplace as a reminder to do something, say something, buy something, or celebrate something...scraps you'll sadly lose, misplace, or temporarily shove to the back of your mind?

I'm of the former persuasion.

That's why my diary will be busy as Hell in the coming months.

That's why I know for sure, for certain, or even without a shadow of a doubt, that this Christmas will be an extra special one. For two reasons.

ONE...I'll be well chuffed that my debut crime novel A Time for Dying (published just before Christmas last year) will be making lots of people murderously happy throughout the festive season.

And TWO...I'll be able to remind all my crime readers that my SEQUEL to A Time for Dying...A House for Monsters...is available NOW to pre-order from my publisher Northodox, and from Amazon...so their post-Christmas reading treat will be well sorted and hunky dory!!

Oh...and by the way, when the fat man in the red suit comes, I hope that you and yours are as surprised and satisfied as you wish for.

It would be criminally bad form not to be...
