Brands like Apple are doing this by designing stores with beautiful architecture and high-end designs; Louis Vuitton does it by having some of its stores act as art galleries where you can see one-of-a-kind pieces up close. These efforts will only get stronger over time as they try to stay ahead of competitors in the race for the best customer experience. People want to believe that luxury comes from within themselves and their personalities rather than from a certain brand or product. People want to think that the products they buy somehow magically transform them into someone better than before—which explains why personal development products are all the rage these days. No matter how much money you spend on your wardrobe, clothes don't make a person. They're just clothing. You're still going to show up at an interview wearing last year's outfit and still turn down promotions because you're too busy. So instead of chasing after an unattainable ideal that only leads to disappointment when it doesn't materialise, we should focus on trying to find happiness in simple things and staying grounded while recognising that luxury starts from within.
