Do we really need a Mothers Day??

Do we really need a Mothers Day??

Mother’s Day is a day for many people to show their appreciation for mothers. Not surprisingly, it’s a special day for children too…😊 . It is celebrated worldwide on the second Sunday of May. Our social media will be flooded with greeting messages for dear mother. Some will be busy clicking pictures and buying gifts for the lovely mom.

Do we really need a special day for this?? Do we need this showoff to express our love for our mother?

When it comes to me it is strictly no. Because of my parents' complex relationship, I didn't get to appreciate my mother's affection as much. Still, I respect and appreciate everything she has done for me and my siblings. But today, I am the mother of two daughters, and I consider myself quite fortunate to have them. I am enjoying motherhood every day because of them. I genuinely believe that celebrating Mother's Day should be done on a daily basis rather than only on Mother's Day. of course, it would not be a party celebration. It could be done in many ways.

We can blossom her life with little effort. Little efforts will make a lot of difference and will be enough to bring a marvelous smile to her face. That can't be bought with any gift. Still, it will be able to fill her heart with love and happiness. Like making a cup of Tea(Don't forget to make coffee if she is a coffee lover) when she is tired, Playing her favorite music along with it would be enough for enhancing the taste of tea or coffee, giving her at least peaceful few hours off from household chores, encouraging her to pursue her dreams or hobbies, becoming her at least a good friend, if she is illiterate, then educate her, and updating her with technology. The list is endless. You have to choose your own way. Most importantly, standing along with her in their hour of need.

Mothers are referred to as "creators" because, after God, they have the ability to give birth. From the moment her child is born, she plays an important role in shaping his or her attitude, habits, and overall development. She is both a motivator and a good critic. As it is said," A mother is she who can take the place of all the others but whose place no one can take "

There is one exception to this rule. Children are sometimes raised by their fathers for a variety of reasons, including a complicated marriage, divorce, the death of a parent, or any other circumstance. The father fulfills both duties for them and serves as a role model. Then, on Mother's Day, they deserve to be recognized and praised. 😊.

Love and appreciate your mother every single day.

Mother is our life's shield
She is the first instructor.
She is the very first pal.
She is the first person we have met.
She is the family's backbone.

Celebrate fabulous and fantastic Mother's Day every day❤❤

** This is not to offend anyone. This is my viewpoint. Yours would be different. Would love to hear your opinion and addition😊**

A lot to add here but yes Prabhjot Kaur it is good to see that you shared something that I have always believed. We do not need a special day to celebrate Mom's effort in nurturing us but u can put a little effort into everyday life to make them feel that motherhood aint hard. More to that, just like you, me, with my mom hasn't been that close to experiencing affection from her like I feel affection for my father, but coming from a lower middle-class family, I will always be grateful to her for which she fought with the society and hard situation to get my education throughout in English medium. This post reminds me of one of my friends Sheetal Makhija that put in effort every single day to make her mom's life comfortable. Great post-Prabhjot Kaur, I loved the way you put your thoughts and the way articulated it.

Mother's Day should always happen. Every day should be Mother's Day. There are some people who do not respect their mother but put status and upload photos to show people on Mother's Day. By wishing Mother's Day, we show that yes, we love our mothers too. Mother is very special, so every day should be special. Every day should be Mother's Day.😊❤️

There was and will always be a reason for celebration whenever motherly love is showered upon human beings in different roles and become successful in every field today to guide the next generation, and so every day in a year, an Appreciation for a Mother is a precious present .....All mothers are proving today that they are best in one or the other way!!! So we don't actually need a day as "Mother's day"...!!! Happy mother's day to all mom figures !!! 🎉
