Dockzilla Loading Dock Platforms Quickly Add Shipping Capacity

Adding shipping capacity can be difficult, if not impossible at some buildings. Underground utilities, cost and timing of excavation, soil conditions and the permanent location are all reasons more customers are using Dockzilla in lieu of permanant concrete construction. For example, this high capacity manufacturer needed to quickly add four loading docks at a new location that was completely flat. They contacted us to create two double platforms 24' x 24' that housed hydraulic Rite Hite Dock Levelers and Rotating Hook Restraints inside of a basic warehouse.

As standard, we included tall 13" side curbs on the 16' wide ramp and a full impact barrier with OSHA rated handrails along the perimeter. For ease of access there were two 24" wide ships ladders if employees needed to quickly access this new working platform. From the beginning, there were no added costs to add the safety features we know are needed around forklifts and loading docks. The Dockzilla platform arrived complete, designed for the rigors of forklift and trailer impact loads.
