DOES WAKING UP EARLY MORNING (5 A.M.), MAKES YOU MORE SUCCESSFUL ?

We all have heard ,

“Early to Bed , Early to Rise – makes a person Healthy , Wealthy & Bright”

Does waking up early can really make people successful ? I did some research and checked the following people from India and abroad, to understand their daily schedule .

1.      Our PM – Mr. Modi , wakes up at 5 am 2.      Mr. Amitabh Bachhan wakes up at 5:30 am 3.      Virat Kohli wakes up at 6:00 am 4.      Mark Zukerberck wakes up at 6:00am 5.      Tim Cook – Apple CEO , wakes up at 4:30 am 

I dig further deep into our ancient history and checked on some legends. 1.      Swami Vivekananda , used to wake up at 3 am 2.      Mahatma Gandhi , at 4 am  The more I searched , the more I found that all the successful people, whether   they are young , old or very old,they all have one common habit i.e. of waking up early 

WHY WAKING UP EARLY MAKES YOU HEALTHY, WEALTHY & BRIGHT ? As prescribed in Indian Scriptures , when you get up early in the morning,the human intellect and the energy for retaining any knowledge is extremely high.

BUT….  -   Why is rising early such a common practice that attracts so many famous and successful people? -Why do these people pushes themselves to wake up early, while others are still dreaming ?

How waking up early changed everything around me… ?

1.      WINNER’S MINDSET Every morning when you wake up , you have to fight between two voices a.      Of a victim or b.     Of A hero Depending upon which one your inner voice gives more importance , you decide accordingly … If your inner voice gives you feel of a VICTIM, you give up and continue to sleep further. But if your inner voice makes you feel like a HERO, you wake up even before the first buzz of the alarm !

So focus on your inner voice , there will be no stopping of you .

2.  MORE DAYS IN YOUR LIFE If you get up an hour early every day , you would gain 15 days in a year. I wake up at 4 am every day , and finishes most of my important task, fitness regimen, breakfast and  most of my work by 9 am and I have more hours and day’s time with me to plan and execute my most important projects and assignments. We only need six to eight hours of sleep in a day, anything more than this is wasting life.

 3. ACTIVE & HEALTHY LIFESTYLE Throughout the day, there is so much of distractions all around us like Social Media , Netflix, Kids, Day to Day household work , Emails, Phone Calls , Zoom calls etc. There is hardly any quiet time for yourself. Getting up early not only allows me to finish my important tasks but It also gives me time to do my fitness regimen for minimum two hours everyday

4. MY SPIRITUAL BEING I read long back that Swami Vivekananda used to get up at 3 am and do meditation in the very early hours of the day . Well getting up early has enlightened me spiritually. Every morning for 30 minutes ,I devote myself spiritually Either in form of listening devotional songs , reading GITA Or listening to great philosophers

5.  MORNING FOOD When you wake up late, you have to match the speed of your ticking clock And very high chances , that you might miss out on your breakfast. Rushing to work without breakfast or very quick bites won’t give you the energy or focus required to be kickass in the morning. An interview of twenty most successful people have suggested that they not only ensure a healthy breakfast in morning but also they have discipline of time , at which they eat.

In Short … When you wake up early , you are one step ahead of others.. You will find that you are more calm, composed, focused and super-charged , when everyone is just rushing to office. When you wake up early, you will find that you put more energy on positive things like planning, organizing & strategizing than being disorganized or making bad decisions.

 So what are you waiting for, There is never a wrong time to do a right thing or its never to late to start from tomorrow. It may take couple of days , but once you taste this habit, You will find more benefits than losses …. Above all , Mahatama Gandhi , Vivekanad and many others  that I mentioned above can’t be all wrong.
