David Hutchins International Quality College (DHIQC) has successfully been offering a form of e-learning since 2010 but we have ceased to call it that largely because we have gone far beyond that. A good course should contain the option of blended learning which can be specialist tutor led or a combination and options of face to face Tutor Led, On line Tutor supported with the possibility of live webinars and team based workplace learning. The courses should be designed to encourage and test the students ability to translate theory into its relevance to the student's work and or home life where relevant. All of this requires course design by serious, experience based subject specialists with several years of hands on experience who will have prior knowledge of all of the problems that will confront students and how they may be overcome. Course designers and course managers should spend a lot of time acquiring and analysing student feedback information and put the courses into a state of continual improvement.
