Embrace the Power of Flow
Have you ever worked so hard toward a goal that you felt overwhelmed and exhausted? You push through, believing this is what it takes to succeed, but when you finally reach the finish line, you're too worn out to enjoy it—or worse, you realize it's not what you wanted after all.
This cycle of hard work and struggle can feel relentless, but it doesn’t have to be the way you approach life. I want to share a quote that shifted my perspective and helped me create a new way of living and working:
"Ask yourself: Is there joy, ease, and lightness in what I am doing? If there isn’t, then time is covering up the present moment, and life is perceived as a burden or a struggle."
— Eckhart Tolle
I’ve been in the situation where I believed that struggle and sacrifice were necessary to achieve my goals. Now, through personal experience, I’ve learned that when you infuse your work with the energy of struggle, you often end up receiving more struggle in return.
The people around you—whether clients, colleagues, or loved ones—end up with a version of you that is drained, overwhelmed, and far from your best.
What Happens When You Allow Struggle?
When you’re in this space, you’re not just affecting your own energy but also the people around you. The weight of constant struggle is heavy on everyone.
I had a wake-up moment when I decided that I no longer wanted to live like this. I wanted there to be joy, ease, and lightness in what I do. And if there wasn’t, I knew something had to change. This shift in mindset allowed me to show up as my best self, aligned with my purpose, and truly in the flow of life.
How Do You Know You're in Flow?
When you’re in flow, life feels very different:
Does this sound like the way you’re currently living and working? Or does it feel like life has become more of a grind?
