Embrace the shades to understand the light

Embrace the shades to understand the light

My kid has been practicing drawing for the past few years. She started to draw basic shapes with two dimensions. When she knew the nuances of shading and light, she was able to draw the three dimensions of the shapes with a lot of shades. I was excited to see her skill in mixing shades and space.

I thought about the Scrum framework. How beautifully it is crafted with Artifacts, Roles, Events, Rules. If we look into the framework, it looks like a two-dimension framework. Once we understood the principles and values, the Scrum Canvass intelligently expands itself into three-dimension to accommodate an emerging art created by passionate people who understood its inner beauty. Complex Adaptive Systems thrive based on positive interactions between the agents. Those interactions are possible when the people live with Scrum values and enjoy playing with endless creative shades of Scrum.

The purpose of scrum is not to do scrum. It is about giving space for human dynamics to express its true self and interact with each other with a serving mindset.

Coaching is nothing but understanding the diverse intricacies of the people and helping to bring awareness and responsibility to reach the self-actualization level. Scrum is a values-based coaching framework that provides an engaging environment for people to unleash their potential

This world is filled only with light but our brain gives color.

When we come out of our binary thinking and embrace the different shades, will help us to understand the light!
