Embracing Innovation and Integrity: Alteon.io's Transformative Journey into 2024 with AI, AR, and C2PA Standards

As we bring in 2024, I’m confident this will be a fundamentally transformative year for digital media and content creation. Artificial intelligence and augmented reality are the most exciting technologies to have a breakthrough in our space—and we at Alteon.io are getting ready for them.

AI has become increasingly pivotal in our industry, speeding up asset organization and overall creative workflows. We have already begun integrating AI tools into our cloud-based creative platform, and we have an invigorating roadmap to deeper embed ourselves within the space in the coming year. 

An essential addition to our platform this year will be the integration of the Content Authenticity and Provenance Initiative (C2PA) standards into Alteon.io. As digital provenance becomes increasingly important, C2PA's framework will ensure that digital content's origins, history, and authenticity are verifiable, fostering trust and transparency in the creative ecosystem. This step aligns with our commitment to innovation and integrity, further solidifying our leadership in the evolving digital landscape.

Meanwhile, we know that the Apple Vision Pro will revolutionize the way we consume media, inspiring never-before-seen immersive experiences. That’s why we quickly launched support for two new file types—MV-HEVC and USDZ—to help our creative community tell stories using spatial video and 3D objects, respectively. I can proudly say that Alteon is leading the charge in opening up new possibilities for innovative creators working in these new dimensions. 

With overhauled workflows for review, approval, comments and conversations, we’re making it easier than ever to collaborate with guests, clients and teams anywhere in the world. If you haven’t logged on in a while, I invite all of you to see what we’ve been up to.
