Embracing Love: How Love Can Make You a Better Person?
It is that wonderful time of year again. St. Valentine’s Day. A day where people worldwide come together to send messages of love and affection to those they love and cherish. Life can be demanding, and because of this, we often forget the power love has. St. Valentine’s Day is a reminder of the power of love, bringing those who celebrate its joy and gratitude for those they love. Whilst St. Valentine’s Day is a wonderful occasion; we should all strive to be more loving in our lives. Rather than celebrating love on one particular day, we should embrace love all year round.
“Love is the most powerful emotion in the world ... Love is pure and kind and can make you feel happy all over for another reason than your affection for another person.”
The Inspiring Power of Love.
When we experience love, the brain releases high dopamine, creating a euphoric feeling that cannot be easily described. Aside from bringing joy to our lives, love can inspire us to better ourselves, make significant changes to our lives, and strive for greatness.
A famous adage has been proven accurate many times, “behind every great man, there is a great woman.” Behind Winston Churchill, there was Clementine Churchill. Behind John Adams, there was Abigail Adams. Behind Shah Jahan, there was Mumtaz Mahal. These men all accredited their successes to the women by their sides. Having a loving, supportive partner by your side can inspire you to be the best version of yourself.
“It is a good day to reflect on your progress in the new year; take time out from your busy schedule and celebrate love, whether it is with your partner, a new love, your parents, your children, friends, or really anyone you have a special bond with”.
A family that offers caring and loving support will be able to endure hardship and overcome any adversity, whilst having love for your friends can improve your overall well-being, giving purpose and meaning to people’s lives. St. Valentine’s Day is an opportunity to express gratitude and affection for those closest to you.

Love is also crucial to business growth and career advancement. Businesses are built on relationships. By treating those you work alongside with love and respect, they will be motivated and inspired to work to their fullest potential. Similarly, if you treat your customers and clients with empathy and respect, they will reciprocate these feelings by supporting and endorsing your business.
Love is also pertinent to success in your career. Being happy at work and loving what you do will improve your overall productivity and enhance your performance. People who enjoy their jobs are more motivated, make fewer mistakes, and are generally more optimistic. The mindset you choose to adopt when working is crucial. Being more positive, working closely with colleagues, and treating them with love and respect will lead to more success and fulfilment.
Lover & Self-Improvement.
Love can bring happiness and fulfilment to your personal and professional life. You can learn new things about yourself and the world around you. The more people in your life whom you love and who love you, the more support you will have during times of difficulty and hardship. Love can make you a better, well-balanced person.
