I'm living proof that employee experience matters. I work for myself. There is a reason for that! I suppose it goes beyond my bad employee experiences (I like my autonomy). But life might have been different if I had been treated differently.

Yes! Traditions are fun! Creates memories and makes the work days go by more pleasantly. Even if they are basic like a Halloween potluck lunch, they still create a nice overall experience in comparison to a workplace with no EX perks.
