Employee Spotlight - Chloe Barber
Chloe is the eMarketing Manager at Technology Networks. Chloe plays a key role in producing and delivering high-quality newsletters and emails to our audience. In this article, you will be getting to know a little bit more about Chloe.
When did you join the Technology Networks team?
I joined Technology Networks as a Junior marketing assistant in Jan 2019. I joined just after I finished uni after taking a liking to marketing in my event management degree. I soon realized I wanted to stick with TN and develop my career with them. That’s when I landed the role of Team lead. I love working with my team producing new ideas and promoting new content. If only little old quiet junior Chloe could see me now!
What are you currently most excited about in your role?
I am excited to see where my role is going to go. After working more with our global marketing team it's always good to learn from the other marketing people in the company and see what is successful in other brands. I am also excited to see how much knowledge my team is going to develop in the next year. I take great pride in getting my team to learn new things in their role and see them be successful and gain more confidence.

What is a hobby you have?
I always find this question difficult, but I love running. I wouldn’t say I am as good as I was, but I love getting out in the fresh air, trying and get some PBs with my running and clear my head after a long day behind the desk. Moving your body is important otherwise I love my sofa way too much! I did complete a half marathon last year so now I’m looking at doing another race (maybe a little shorter) this year!
I also have recently just got back into swimming- I used to compete when I was younger so it's nice to pick up something again that I used to love. It's just nice to switch off for half an hour without thinking about too much!
