Every entrepreneur gets to a point where one or all of these things happen.

Every entrepreneur gets to a point where one or all of these things happen.

I've been thinking as we ramp up for our Mastermind in Utah, about the moments in my life that have created real movement in my business. Often times these moments aren't a big lightbulb, but more of an accumulation. I'd love to hear your thoughts as well.

But these are my big three from my own life an observation.
  1. You outgrow your circle: Suddenly you realize everyone around you comes to you for advice- and you have no one to bounce high level things off of.
  2. You are the smartest person in the room: Run, don’t walk to get a different perspective from people doing better than you. If you are the smartest person in the room, you are in the wrong room.
  3. You have no one to be accountable to: As the “boss” you don’t have someone to hold to your plan or make sure you GSD.

Has this happened to you or someone you know? Or add your own point in the comments below!

Scott Duffy, you always show up at the right time. I derive a great deal of value from being around other entrepreneurs. It really gets my idea engine going. I've been heads down in the trenches and have neglected that effort for a while. Thank you for the reminder.
