Karin Feldman Named Interim COO, Chief Nuclear Officer at NuScale Power

Karin Feldman, vice president of NuScale Power‘s (NYSE: SMR) program management office, has been appointed interim chief operating officer and chief nuclear officer.

She will step into the dual position Jan. 6 and replace Dale Atkinson, who will retire from NuScale after more than eight years of service, the company said Friday.


Bajinder Paul Named Arch Systems President, Chief Innovation Officer

Bajinder Paul, a 25-year federal service veteran, has been appointed president and chief innovation officer at Baltimore, Maryland-based information technology services company Arch Systems.

He brings to the position over two decades of experience in operational and strategic leadership and information technology encompassing software development, project and program management, cloud-based transformation, cybersecurity, IT acquisition, budget oversight and enterprise architecture, the woman-owned small business said Friday.


Robert Turk Named Acting Director, CIO of DTRA IT Directorate

Robert Turk, a retired U.S. Army colonel, has been appointed as acting director and chief information officer at the Defense Threat Reduction Agency’s Information Management and Technology Directorate, according to a LinkedIn post published Saturday.

In his new role, Turk is responsible for overseeing the agency’s network modernization and information technology reform initiatives and facilitating information sharing across the Department of Defense to support efforts to counter the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction. 


Northrop Vet Bruce Brooke Named Chief Growth Officer at FWG

Bruce Brooke, an 18-year veteran of Northrop Grumman, has been appointed chief growth officer at Washington, D.C.-based information technology and cybersecurity services provider FWG Solutions, according to a LinkedIn post published Sunday.

He brings three decades of industry experience to the Small Business Administration-certified 8(a) contractor and will be responsible for helping drive the company’s market footprint expansion initiatives.


Draper Appoints Former General Dynamics Exec Mary Kim as VP, General Counsel

Mary Kim, former assistant general counsel and director at General Dynamics (NYSE: GD), was named as vice president and general counsel at Draper.

In a LinkedIn post, the nonprofit engineering innovation company also said Kim will serve as secretary of its board of directors and work from its Reston, Virginia office.
