Facebook is not dead

Facebook is not dead

The irony is not lost on me that I am writing a LinkedIn article about Facebook. I get it! If you are reading this on LinkedIn (or via email) you may or may not be as active on Facebook these days.

And believe me I get it. Facebook has changed so much in the 15 years I have been on the platform (15 years?? YEP!)

There is a ton of noise, spam, ads and just stuff that makes a lot of folks say, "is this really worth it?"

Here is the truth, if you are a real estate agent - a GOOD chunk of who you work with are probably on Facebook.

And guess what? You don’t have to spend a ton of money on ads to get traction. Don't tell the Facebook ad gurus though :) They will gladly take your money!

The truth is - anything worth doing takes a bit of time, intention and strategy and Facebook is no different. And because real estate is a people business - Facebook is an ideal platform to use to stay in touch with your sphere and attract new business.

Here are three videos we published this month all on this topic:

  1. How to optimize your Facebook personal profile and business page
  2. Do you need a Facebook personal profile and business page?
  3. The scoop on Facebook Reels, Stories and Facebook Live for real estate

In addition - I can’t wait to spill the tea in our NEW Facebook Masterclass on 5/20! This class is completely new for 2024. When you sign up for this 90 minute live class with me you will also receive the 20+ page PDF that goes with it plus access to the replay for 60 days.

So, no - Facebook is not dead!

In this class we are going to cover tips on how to optimize your Facebook profile and business page, how to generate business from Facebook (without spending money on ads), tips on Stories, Reels, FB Lives, Groups and more!

I would love to see you there. Get signed up here!

This is such a good reminder. I know a lot of my clients feel like their posts get crickets on Facebook, but I think you just have to get strategic and find that perfect overlap of the right content for your specific audience.
