Feminine Energy and Your Money: A Nurse's Perspective

Feminine Energy and Your Money: A Nurse's Perspective

In this article, I’m sharing my personal opinions, and they may not resonate with everyone, but I hope they offer a new perspective on the relationship between money and energy. I’ve come to believe that while money itself is neutral, the approach to building riches and wealth involves distinct energy dynamics. Building riches—the hustle, grind, and constant go-getting—leans into masculine energy. In contrast, building wealth is an exercise of feminine energy, rooted in flow, nurturing, and allowing growth over time.

As a nurse, I started thinking about burnout in our profession, especially related to how we manage our financial lives. I’m currently working toward my license to become a financial advisor, and after four years in business, I’ve learned something critical: the root of burnout often isn’t just about the job or needing more education in our field. For many of us, burnout comes from a deeper issue—our relationship with money and how we use it.

When we face financial strain, the typical response for most nurses is to work more shifts. We throw ourselves into the grind, often pushing beyond our boundaries in both personal and professional life. But the truth is, what’s causing our stress isn’t the lack of money itself—it’s the lack of knowledge and skills to make our money work for us. We’re stuck in this cycle of earning to survive, rather than creating sustainable, long-term financial freedom.

As someone who has always worked, I initially found it challenging to sit at home when I became a housewife. But during that time, I began to notice something profound: women who weren’t working in traditional jobs still contributed immensely to their families’ holistic wealth. Even though they weren’t bringing in money, they were budgeting, managing, and directing the flow of the household’s resources in ways that allowed them to multiply—even with limited income.

This is where feminine energy comes into play. While so many of us work long hours, we’re missing out on this power of multiplication. Money doesn’t just grow through hard work. It grows when we slow down, take stock, and manage our resources in a way that allows them to expand naturally. Feminine energy thrives in this state—it’s about nurturing what we have and giving it the space and time to grow.

But how can we do this when we’re constantly stuck in survival mode? When we’re operating under the stress and pressure to work more and earn more, our brains are in a fight, flight, or freeze state. In this mode, we can’t think expansively or abundantly. Our focus narrows to “not enough” or “do more.” This is the masculine energy of striving, constantly pushing forward.

In contrast, the parasympathetic state—the “rest and relax” mode—allows our brains to shift into abundance. When we’re not stressed, we can think creatively about how to grow our resources. Ideas flow naturally, synchronicities happen, and we’re able to make the kinds of decisions that lead to wealth-building, not just quick fixes. In this state, we can ask ourselves, “How can I be more, rather than do more?”

This is the secret power of feminine energy: it creates space for reflection and strategic growth. Nurses who embrace this energy in their financial lives would slow down, instead of speeding up. And yes, I know—it’s way easier said than done. But the results can be exponential and long-lasting.

To tap into this energy, we need to focus on creating boundaries, learning how money works, and understanding how to direct the flow of our resources to places where they can multiply. It’s about investing in the long-term, nurturing our finances with patience and intention, rather than constantly pushing harder in the short-term. By doing this, we allow wealth to grow and compound in ways that go beyond the grind of working more hours.

So, let’s start by slowing down, taking a deep breath, and allowing ourselves to think differently about our money. Let’s trust in the power of feminine energy to create abundance, both in our financial lives and beyond.

In my next article, I’ll dive deeper into how we can practically implement these principles, especially for nurses navigating burnout and financial stress.

Warmly,

Kasey Pacheco

The ‘not enough’, ‘do more’, is such a common thread. And while difficult, it’s the slowing down, the contemplation, and of course the self love that allows for flow and ease, and wealth. Definitely not an easy thing for many, if not most of us to do, especially when the status quo consistently promotes the first message, ‘not enough’ and ‘do more’. Thank you for this, so very well said. To abundance and expansion! ❤️

Kasey Pacheco thank you so much!!! This is a testament that I have made the right choice and the right plan! Besides I am not greedy and I am always seeking the Kindom of God, my plan is to create solid foundation for allowing people to come to me and to be able to nurture them, instead of chasing constantly the next clients and not able to deliver what needed. I also believe abboundance is also the ability to volunteer for someone in need, but be careful in putting boundaries on those who just want to use us because we are opened to donate ourselves. Abboundance is presence, attention and protection, all feminine energies, I believe! Thank you gir this article 🙏
