Harnessing the Real Power of a Nurse: The Power of Feminine Energy
Hi, my name is Kasey Pacheco, and I’ve been contemplating writing this newsletter for quite some time now. I wear many hats—I'm a mom, soon to be a mom again (yes, another little one is on the way!), a wife, sister, friend, nurse, coach, and, well, I guess I’ll finally admit it—I am an International collaborator and leader .
I never sought to be a leader of any kind. The idea of leadership seemed foreign, even at odds, with who I am. But here I am, writing this because I’ve come to realize that the energy driving my leadership, and perhaps many others like me, is rarely acknowledged or embraced. And yet, it’s the very energy that holds the key to a balanced, harmonious future.
This is the kind of leadership that will bloom and flourish in the next 5 to 15 years. Once fully embraced, it will catalyze shifts in the world that will bring about balance, harmony, equality, and yes—justice. It’s a leadership rooted not in politics, religious or the competitive patriarchal structures we inherited but in love, nature, and spirituality. It aligns with the natural laws of the universe yet has the power to challenge all odds and norms to do what is right and needed.
You may wonder what I’m talking about, or maybe you’re already vibrating in sync with me. The leadership I’m referencing is fueled by Feminine Energy.
Let me clarify: Feminine Energy has nothing to do with gender.
Each of us, regardless of gender, possesses both masculine and feminine energies in different proportions, shaped by our nature and upbringing.
Feminine Energy, in its purest form, is aligned with the essence of Mother Energy—nurturing, supportive, and caring. Yet, throughout history, this energy has been repressed and devalued, considered weak and ineffective. If you read between the lines of history, you’ll notice that no powerful masculine leader ever rose to prominence without a team—male or female—who tapped into their Feminine Energy to support their cause and rally others to victory.

As a nurse, I’ve seen this imbalance of energies firsthand. Many believe, the problems we face in healthcare today lies in poor leadership, but I think it goes deeper. It’s rooted in an imbalance between masculine and feminine energies. Nursing, a female-dominated profession, often pushes even the most naturally nurturing individuals into over-reliance on masculine energy. To be taken seriously or seen as professional, we suppress our Feminine Energy, leading to burnout, dissatisfaction, and imbalance within teams and ourselves.
The solution I propose isn’t to eliminate masculine energy.
It’s not about women exclusively leading, either. Many women, due to life’s hardships, have become so disconnected from their Feminine Energy that they allow their masculine side to dominate, sometimes even more so than their male counterparts.
The True power lies in the balance—within ourselves, our workplaces, and our societies.
Before I could truly understand the power of Feminine Energy, I had to honor both the masculine and feminine within myself. I had to ask, "Why would anyone see me as a threat?" and "How can I harness my own power to move the world toward progress?"
In my next newsletter, I’ll dive deeper into how ignoring and undervaluing Feminine Energy has held back true progress within the global healthcare system. Stay tuned!
Warmly, Kasey Pacheco

2moThis is SO powerful, Kasey! I cannot tell you how much I have been realizing this in my professional journey this year. When I stepped away from a role that required masculine energy and embraced entrepreneurship with other female founders, I reconnected with exactly the nerdy you describe here. It is transformational and healing to align one’s work with their human design/energy type. Thank you for writing this. I know so many need to hear it. Cheers to feminine energy healing the world 🎉❤️
