Apptio, an IBM Company and their Senior Marketing Programs Manager, Lauren Rappold , partnered with TrustRadius Event Support to be on-site, sourcing reviews across the Apptio portfolio at their customer conferences.
By driving booth traffic, Apptio was able to generate a bulk of their quality reviews (61.21%) from events. ApptioOne and Apptio Cloudability became Top Rated Award winners and #1 in Primary Category on TrustRadius in 2023, and Apptio TargetProcess has already qualified for Top Rated in 2024!
🎙️ Fighting B2B Review Fraud Amidst AI and Over-Gamification
Reviews are fundamental in the buyer’s journey. However, with the over-gamification business model, vendors cherry-pick customers to leave them five-star reviews so they can rank higher than their competitors and win awards.
Overly incentivized reviews have also led to unethical practices, like creating fictitious accounts to leave fake reviews in order to score a gift card. Both scenarios damage the buyer experience and erode trust.
