Finding the words when the world seems shit
What are you supposed to say?
When your ideal client doesn't have the same income they had a year ago.
When people are more cautious to commit.
When the news is DEFCON 5 on scary stupid shit
What are you supposed to say?
You have a business to run.
Costs to pay.
Profit to make.
You too are feeling the pinch. No amount of love, light and positive fucking vibes will make that latest food bill any cheaper.
So what are you supposed to say?
You try to show up on social media, you write those blogs, send those emails, but the words are hard to find. Even more so than normal.
You don't want to be an arsehole, you don't want to be spammy or pushy when people are struggling but you know you need to make sales.
Not because you are a fat cat greedy bastard but because thats how business works (we can bring down the system later)

Ask questions, listen, tune into what is happening for your ideal client right NOW.
Be honest. Don't over promise out of desperation, apart from being a shitty thing to do, you will pay for it down the line.
Talk about your product or service that is most suited for what your ideal client needs in this moment. Focus on this and how it will help them.
Be open. Now is a hard time for a lot of people. Social media can feed into this by encouraging people to only show their filtered life. Be prepared to be a little vulnerable (without breaking your boundaries), people are craving REAL.
Keep it simple. Just cut the BS and get to the point. People are tired, don't waste their time.
It's not always easy to find the words in your content but they are there.
You know them already.
Before you write just stop and breathe.
Connect mentally to who needs to hear your message and just say it.
From the heart, trusting your instinct and guided by your mission.
That's all you need to say.
