Do You Have 11 Secrets You Want to Share?
We have a new Challenge for Linkedin! 11 Secrets most people dont know about you!

Do You Have 11 Secrets You Want to Share?

I know you heard the secret. We are running a challenge for November that will help people in your network on LinkedIn get to know you better.

It's called the 11 secrets challenge. #11secrets

All you need to do is SHARE 11 secrets about yourself that most people do not know as a POST on LinkedIn.

My goal is to build more meaningful relationships with people who are willing to do this together with me.

These secrets could be something personal, a story, a fear you overcame, a skill that you have, or a background about yourself.

Write an article with the topics and each day write a post off that article.

It will give you the ability to connect deeper with your audience, and it will encourage you to share more about yourself.

This builds trust, and that is the source for getting more referrals.

ARE YOU IN? Let me know in the comments below and we will track your progress.

Here are my 11 Secrets. I'll be tracking all of your secrets with #11secrets, so make sure you include that tag, when you post your text post each day, and I will like and comment on as many as I can.

Here are a few examples. You can share something personal without sharing something PRIVATE.

  • I speak Spanish and it's my first language.
  • When I was a teen, I was chased, mugged and beaten in Brooklyn because I was Jewish.
  • At 17, I did not know how to use a computer.
  • When I started Ajax Union, I had no CEO training.
  • I used to be deathly afraid of sharing myself on social media.
  • Until I was 32, I never ran more than just a few minutes.
  • I used to be 265 pounds and would eat fast food daily.
  • I quit smoking a pack a day, cold turkey, from something a coach told me 7 years ago. I never smoked a cigarette again.
  • Public speaking was not on my list of things to become good at. Growing up I was actually very shy.
  • My mother is my inspiration for being an entrepreneur.
  • I always loved RAPPING, but I was ashamed to practice in front of people.

Go ahead and write your own personal secrets. Share a few that will make you more relatable to your target market.

Let me know in the comments if you're in!

This looks like fun, Joe. I have to ask, what did the coach tell you that got you to quit smoking? Also, if I understand the challenge correctly, we are to post an article with all eleven secrets and then share each one in a post on eleven separate days?
