The parent company of Urban Outfitters, URBN, has begun a partnership with enterprise AI software platform o9 Solutions to digitally transform their end-to-end merchandising strategy. CIO at URBN, Rob Frieman, states that the partnership will “position URBN for long-term sustainable and profitable growth.”
Global assurance company LRQA has created a new responsible sourcing regulation map which aims to provide interactive updates on active and upcoming legislation connected to due diligence within the apparel industry. All regulations included on the map are related to supply chain diligence in each region.
After entering the Latin American market in 2012 with its first store opening in Mexico, H&M has recently entered the Brazilian market and established a strategic partnership with the Dorben Group, a well-established local entity with extensive knowledge and expertise in the Brazilian apparel industry.
Copenhagen Fashion Week had everyone talking about Ganni A/S ’s runway which featured AI talking trees, Chat GPT and materials made from algae and olive oil. A key moment which demonstrated how sustainability, design and AI can intersect.
