Garden of dreams

When I go to sleep at night
Sometimes I feel that-I want to get lost in my dreams
Escaping reality
Enjoying the fantasy
It looks and feels wonderful in my mind
Love and peace gently entwined
Dreams can be a happy place
A longing distraction of far off places
Creating castles and magical lands
Safe and sound
Artistry
Beautiful nature wild and free
Untouched beauty
I can play my dream part
Or stand and produce a work of art
So nice to just explore
Time I can ignore
My mind can take me as far as my imagination can see
Childhood stories coming to life
My inner child loving life
Vibrant colours positive and real
The atmosphere light
A refreshing feeling
A secret garden with an enchanted swing
A magical key to let me in
Lovely flowers and planted beds
The dog rose bows its pretty head
Birds singing in the trees
The fragrance of the lavender
The scent drifting in the breeze
The midnight hour where time stands still
Myths and legends -fairy folk
My dreams are truly bespoke
Unlocking your hearts desires
A hidden entrance beyond all the growth
A place where dreams and secrets hide
To discover them is the ultimate prize
Aladdins lamp and magic carpet -to fly me to the moon
The cockerel letting out its morning call
It always feels too soon
Back to reality and my dreams fade
Part of a memory stored away
Rested and prepared -my eyes open and I'm ready to rise
Leaving the garden of dreams behind
Grateful for the opportunity to face this new day and always in my own unique way :) x
