Sport England breaks down £45m investment
Sport England has committed £45m ($57.2m/€52.7m) to combat the climate crisis as part of its first-ever environmental sustainability strategy titled Every Move.
Global Sustainable Sport expands GSSport24 Summer Workshop Series with online sessions
Global Sustainable Sport has announced the expansion of its GSSport24 Summer Workshop Series by merging the planned content from its postponed in-person congress into a series of free weekly online sessions that will engage a truly international audience.
Starting in May and continuing until mid-July, GSSport24 will deliver a series of weekly online workshops covering a range of topics based around the GSS 7 Sustainable Pillars of Sport and Purpose, while the congress originally planned for Munich in June is postponed until 2025.
The first online workshop will feature four-back-to-back sessions of 45 minutes each. Stellar speakers such as Daniel Cade from Responsible Sport, Nico Decurtins from The Sustainability Coach, and Leanna Carriere and Timm Döbert from Wings of Survival will kick off the series with essential insights during the session.
Registration for this event, and all the upcoming weekly online workshops, will be be free.
The sessions will be fully interactive, allowing attendees to submit questions for participants to answer, strengthening connections at the heart of the sustainable sports movement.
