The Good, The Bad, and The Indifferent, By Dan Harkey
Change is in the air, with positive forces and gale-force winds pushing it forward. The citizens are overwhelmingly behind reducing regulations and cutting useless government spending.
The newly formed Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) is coming to the rescue, with templates already in place. This department, dedicated to identifying and eliminating wasteful government spending, is crucial in our fight against government waste. Two of its key initiatives are Rand Paul’s FESTIVUS Report and Joni Ernst's (R. Iowa) report alleging telework's evils within the Federal Government.
The FESTIVUS Report:
The Jodi Ernst Report: Titled Out of Office-Bureaucrats on the Beach and Bubble Baths but not in Office Buildings.
Her report states no checking mechanism exists to determine whether remote bureaucrats are working or turning on their computers.
Waste, Fraud, and Abuse:

Investigating the “waste, fraud, and abuse” in government spending is one thing. But facing an entrenched bureaucratic monopoly is another. The entire Washington D.C. apparatus, from their labor union affiliation to the Department of Labor to the Federal Judicial System, is on the side of self-serving entrenchment. All of these mentioned above are part of the bureaucratic apparatus with monopoly power and authority to protect itself, allowing continued waste and runaway spending. With its power and authority, this entrenched cabal makes it daunting to bring about the necessary changes.
The fight will be brutle against established dark forces and the newly installed administration making decisions in the best interest of the people and private enterprise.
