Good Morning
We all know those seemingly endless "Good Morning" messages on WhatsApp. They can be so repetitive that we often feel irritated or even tempted to mute the sender or leave the group altogether.
I used to feel the same way—until a conversation with my elder uncle changed my perspective.
One day, I noticed him checking his WhatsApp with a smile every time he saw a "Good Morning" message pop up. To be honest, I assumed he was just wasting time, scrolling out of boredom. But I couldn’t help myself and asked, "Doesn't this ever get annoying?"
His answer stopped me in my tracks. "Not at all," he said. "I’m fortunate to have my family close, but some of my friends are in Ashrams (aka., old age homes), abandoned by their families. Those daily 'Good Morning' messages are a reminder that they're still here. If one of them stops sending it… it means they’re gone."
I was stunned!
