2024 was a year like no other—complex, intense, and deeply enriching. It brought moments of profound learning, unlearning, and the courage to let go of what no longer served me.
But the greatest insight of all? The realization that the most powerful lessons came from the people and family I connected with. Every interaction, every conversation, and every shared experience revealed the incredible strength we hold within and the power we ignite in each other.
To capture this journey, here’s a short poem that reflects the essence of what I’ve learned this year:
You can’t be the hero in every tale,
Nor take away all grief, nor help all prevail.
But you can unlock the power they hold,
Through love that’s steady, kind, and bold.
Embrace their chaos, their grief, their fears,
See their truth through silent tears.
Hear them, accept them, without a demand,
And show them it's okay to just stand.
Let them know, wherever they are,
Their strength shines bright, like a guiding star.
When they need you, be there to remind,
The greatest power lies deep inside.
