The first 12 months (4 terms each of 3 months) cover foundation courses, teaching theory related to data science while from term 5 onwards, students get an opportunity to perform industry-relevant coursework in Artificial Intelligence, along with a capstone project at the end of the program.

Term 1 focuses on developing mathematical fundamentals, such as linear algebra, statistics, probability, and calculus, as well as using the R programming language for performing statistical analysis, data visualization, and report generation for analytical use cases. The course covers the necessary topics to gain a solid understanding of the mathematics that underlies machine learning algorithms and data science models.

Term 2 introduces the Python programming language, which is extensively used by data scientists, as well as practical data science approaches, as well as organizational, implementation, and ethical issues.

Machine learning algorithms, database administration, and data preparation are covered in Term 3 with a focus on applications in large scale data analytics projects. The Kaggle competitions (around 10) conducted during the semester to help students think and apply the algorithms they've learned are the highlights of term 3. Additionally, throughout this period, the residency program provides an excellent opportunity to learn from and network with senior professionals.

The fundamentals of data management, such as data quality, integrity, usability, consistency, and security, are explored in Term 4, as well as a problem and project-based course that attempts to establish a contextual understanding of techniques beneficial for managerial decision support.

Terms 5 and 6 focus on industry-relevant Artificial Intelligence coursework, such as Natural Language Processing (NLP), computer vision, and deep learning, followed by a capstone project towards the end of the degree program.

The curriculum as a whole has the right combination of theory and application . The course is  comprehensive in scope and is well balanced by  Kaggle competitions (on real world datasets ) , hands-on projects and assignments . Meticulously curated curriculum is industry-relevant and caters to a wide range of audience who aspire to become Data Scientist , Machine Learning Engineer , AI Specialist , Data Science Advocate / Evangelist , Data Analyst and Business Analyst .The best part of the course is that the entire program is taught as Live sessions and not as pre-recorded sessions by world class faculty . Finally the curriculum covers both the widely used programming languages for Data Science - R and Python with good coverage of fundamentals to advanced aspects of programming .
