HACK your Mornings with 6 EASY steps...

Having a morning routine is important, how important? It will literally set you up to have a successful day. Morning routines add structure to your life, it gives you purpose in the morning and puts your FOCUS where it needs to be.

This is HOW I successfully HACK my MORNINGS: (2 min read)

  1. I wake up at 5:30 am to MUSIC that will wake up my FRONTAL CORTEX (I like BEETHOVEN)
  2. I immediately go downstairs and have a tall glass of WATER, your brain needs fluid. Think of it as gasoline or as Daddy Yankee famously put it "GASOLINA'
  3. Set a timer for 15-20 minutes and stretch. The benefits of stretching to the body and mind are amazing, one of them is the early morning increase of blood flow to your muscles.
  4. I make my BRAIN SMOOTHIE; a combination of avocado, blueberries, leafy greens, almond milk, high-quality protein powder, and coconut oil (1 tablespoon). The smoothie gives my body a boost of energy and sets up my eating HABITS for the day.
  5. Fill out my Self-journal for the day, making sure I set up my CHEF domains, Career, Health, Education, and Family.
  6. Finally my favorite part of my morning routine; A NICE COLD SHOWER from beginning to end. Here is what a cold shower does to your body: 1. Promotes fat loss 2. Improves immunity 3. Lowers stress 4. Promotes faster muscle recovery 5. Gives you sustained energy throughout the day.

Thank you for the tips. The smoothie sounds delicious! I have been tryptophan take cooler showers, but washing, conditioning and rinsing hair takes time and I don’t think I can brave a cold shower that whole time.

I recently tweaked my morning routine to help increase my focus, BUT I saw a couple of things in your list that I will definitely try: 1. That delicious sounding smoothie (which contains so many of my favorite ingredients). 2. The ❄️❄️❄️ cold ssshhoower. (My teeth are already chattering as I think about tomorrow). 😁 Thank you for sharing these tips!
