Hate Writing Cover Letters? Try This Instead.

Do you absolutely dread writing a cover letter? For many job seekers, the cover letter is the most tedious and daunting part of finding a new job you love. Maybe… It takes you forever to write a good cover letter for each position. Maybe… You’re not sure how to customize your cover letter for different positions. Or… You’re stuck on how to address an employment gap, layoff, or career pivot.

And Googling “how to write a cover letter” doesn’t provide any real help. Cover letter articles and templates can be helpful if you’re truly new to the job search and you’ve never seen a cover letter before. But many job seekers need more nuance and detailed advice than a rigid fill-in-the-blank template can give.

Plus, these options don’t address a huge problem: you don’t have time to spend an hour or more on each cover letter, writing it from scratch!

That’s why Cover Letters Made Simple is all about empowering you with a SYSTEM for writing a cover letter unique to each position — in just 15 minutes.

It’s been on my heart for awhile now to share the simple system I used to create custom cover letters for my husband’s applications that landed him an interview with his number one target company in just three days. (*He had an offer in hand by day 7 of his job search*)

I know how frustrating it can be staring at a blank page and trying to figure out what to say and how to say it. If that’s you, check out my new course Cover Letters Made Simple. Not only does it teach you a repeatable system for writing custom cover letters but I’m giving you fill-in-the-blank templates and professionally-written excerpts that you can use to quickly build a a cover letter that tells hiring managers exactly what they want to hear while addressing those unique and challenging career situations that can be so tricky to tackle.

I didn’t want to just provide fluffy advice. I wanted to give you the exact words to address the Covid-related layoff, the time off caring for a family member, the change in industry, or the employment gap you’re trying to find a way to articulate.

No more guessing or stressing. After this course you’ll know exactly what to say and how to say it.

I’m so excited to offer this new resource to job seekers and I pray that it blesses you in your job search.

I invite you to check out the course registration page to learn more about Cover Letters Made Simple.

Unfortunately I am one of the 1,800 incredible people impacted by Gap’s layoffs yesterday.   Although, this news was definitely quite unexpected and disappointing, I am really hopeful to find better opportunities as I move ahead in the career.   I am proud of the work I have accomplished during my tenure at GAP Inc (BRFS Men's Div) and really grateful to my team, for providing me all the support and experience I have got.  I am open to new opportunities and would be happy to connect with anyone in my network or otherwise who might have cue on job openings. I have experience working as a Lead Inventory planning Analyst. Looking for new opportunity as Sr. Supply chain Planner or related field.    Thank you everyone for your support in this difficult and trying times. I am certainly hopeful to unleash a new chapter in my career and looking forward to take up more exciting opportunities in the coming future.   To all of my incredible colleagues at Gap and (BRFS) who were also impacted, we will pull through this!   #GAPlayoffs #BRFS #opentowork #supplychain #planning #connections #thankyou #openforopportunities
