Galerie Karouzou in Zurich will shortly host an exhibition by the multitalented artist He Yuan from September 15. to October 6.!
Members and Guests of our Vassilopita event in February 2015 have already the opportunity of meeting He Yuan (our Association co-celebrated Greek and Chinese New Year) where she gave an appealing presentation on this topic and a musical performance beautifully accompanying herself on the Guzheng (table harp) a traditional chinese instrument.
We are now looking forward to admiring her latest work in this vernissage "Unterschiedliche Ansichen"!
He Yuan was born in Harbin (China) in 1973, where she studied art and music at the university and won several awards.
From 1997 to 1999 she worked as an editor in an art publishing company in her hometown.
After moving to Shanghai in 2000 she co-founded the “Zhongtian Art Design” company, working as its artistic director. Among other things she was responsible for the decorative design of hotel lobbies, schools, and indoor swimming pools. Later she worked as an illustrator for a children’s magazine, published short novels in a literature magazine, and won acclaim for her poetry as well.
In 2010 she moved to Zurich and has been working as a freelance artist and musician ever since.
