High-Tech, High-Wisdom: The Quest for Wisdom
"Wisdom is ability to question...Wise people may have answers because they have asked so many questions themselves." -- Yasuhiko Genku Kimura
What is the role of a good leader in our current world if not to ask better questions? Wherever we look, we are constantly reminded of challenges people face. From the individual dimension to the collective, are we able to see the interconnections and interdependencies and improve our level of awareness asking more potent questions as we go?
As I have asked in previous article already, how committed are you with the quest for wisdom?
I simply can't get enough from the lessons shared by Yasuhiko Genku Kimura during the podcast we recorded:
Leaders who constantly work on expanding wisdom seem to be more easily able to live in the now, and enjoy the powerful anticipation of what is becoming.
Leaders of the future are asking better questions now. Take AMPHICO, for example, "making the planet better through material innovation." They have asked questions around how to reduce the environmental impact, including reducing the amount of freshwater of the coloring process in textiles, how to make textiles easier to recycle, and they continue to challenge themselves to be a profitable business doing so.
