🌟 Honoring the Memory Catherine Handley: Join Us in the Fight Against Cance🌟
This year, the OpenIQ Tours de Chateau (TDC) is dedicated to my mate and ex-work colleague, Catherine Handley, who tragically lost her life to ovarian cancer in March of this year. Catherine's journey with cancer deeply touched me, and I'd like to share a part of her story with you.
I first learned about Catherine's battle when I posted about Tours de Chateau in 2021. Her response, filled with gratitude and courage, moved me deeply. Catherine was one of the first to donate to TDC 2021, and her support inspired many.
Catherine's strength and positivity were unwavering. She faced each day with resilience, even during her first round of chemo. Her passing in March 2024 was a heartbreaking loss for her family, friends, and all who knew her. Catherine's spirit lives on in her children, Eva and Xav, whom she cherished deeply.
Catherine's memory continues to inspire us. She was an integral part of the TDC journey, and this year, we dedicate the ride to her. To honor Catherine's legacy and support the fight against cancer, I invite you to join us in fundraising for cancer research for the Peter MacCallum Cancer Research Institute.

Let's come together to remember Catherine and make a difference in the lives of those affected by ovarian cancer. Your support will help fund vital research and bring hope to those fighting this disease.
Last year's TDC raised $18,665! The 2024 events will cover 800 KM through rural France and Belgium. The 2024 team will climb the famous Alp D’Huez, Col de la Madeleine and Mont Ventoux.
