How to against Vibrio
Every year, in the later months of breeding, the breeding temperature gradually rises, and the shrimp we breed has entered a period of rapid growth, and the feeding amount has gradually increased.
Shrimp farmers will find that their shrimps have red pancreas, WFS, and death, and some even empty the pond. The phenomenon of dead shrimp is also beyond control. What is the reason for this? It turned out to be caused by Vibrio in the pond.
- What is Vibrio?
Vibrio is an anaerobic bacterium with short, curved body and a flagellum at the tail. The main pathogenic bacteria of shrimp are: Vibrio alginolyticus, Vibrio parahaemolyticus, Vibrio harveyi, Vibrio cholerae, etc.
- What kind of growth environment does Vibrio like?
Vibrio adaptation temperature is 10-35 degrees, the most suitable temperature is about 25 degrees.
Vibrio likes to grow on organic matter, such as bait, feces, dead algae, and dead farm animals, and breeds faster at lower or higher temperatures.
During the breeding process, only a small part of the feed we feed is eaten by farmed animals, most of which will remain at the bottom of the pond. In addition, the current feed protein contentis very high. Under the anaerobic conditions of the pond, the bottom is partially ammoniated. Bacteria and sulfur-sulfurizing bacteria produce a large amount of harmful components such as ammonia nitrogen and hydrogen sulfide, and will cause relatively high geothermal temperatures. Vibrio bacteria can get sufficient nutrients and reproduce quickly.
- Pathogenesis of Vibrio on shrimp
The pathogenesis of Vibriosis isdivided into three steps:
Step 1:
1. Illness comes from the mouth
Pond bait, dead algae, and sediments contain a large number of Vibrio species. Prawns eat these humus to infect Vibrio species.
2. Vibrio adheres to the surface ofshrimp;
Step 2: Vibrio enters shrimp and crab;
Step 3: Vibrio multiplies in the shrimp and produces toxins.
Ingestion and adhesion are the first steps of Vibrio infection. It is of great significance for bacteria to invade host cells and effectively exert toxins. The receptors for Vibrio adhesin are not very clear.
However, when the shrimp body surfaceis damaged due to parasite parasites or the water quality is not good enough to cause the sticky slippery protective film on the shrimp body surface to disappear, the probability of Vibrio infection increases.
- Symptoms of Vibrio infection
1. Vibrio actively adheres to the digestive tract or wound, destroys the epidermis, and enters the body, causing inflammation and tissue ulceration, necrosis, or atrophy.
2, the early manifestations of prawns with red legs and red tails, red whiskers with broken whiskers, redness of the liver and pancreas, redness of the stomach and intestines, and tail edema,
3. In the later stage, symptoms such as enteritis, fasting, hepatopancreas, atrophy, red body, and death are common. Vibrio can cause symptoms such as blisters, enteritis, and rotten tail in the tail of crayfish. The therapeutic effect can also be achieved by drugs.
4. Some have entered the advanced stage and there is no cure, so we need to reduce the loss through treatment when the disease has just occurred and make sure it no longer gets worse.
- How to control vibrio?
The prevention and treatment of vibriosis is an important issue in breeding. Only by actively taking preventive measures, discovering the pathogen in time and adopting effective countermeasures, can the outbreak of vibriosis in prawn breeding be contained.
1. Choose healthy shrimp
Through molecular biology, microscopic examination and other methods, selecting healthy shrimp seedlings without vibrio pathogen is the first step of successful breeding;
2. Biological control
By biological inhibition, probiotics were cultured in shrimp ponds to form dominant populations, such as phage, bacteriophilic vibrio, photosynthetic bacteria, lactobacillus, bacillus, etc., and Marine microalgae were applied to make the proportion of beneficial bacteria in the bacterial phase dominant and the proportion of vibrio decreased.
3. Disinfection and sterilization
There are few vibrio bacteria in water, vibrio adhere to the organic debris and soil, at the bottom of the membrane and the pipe surface, a large number of vibrio breed together, easy to form a layer of biofilm, therefore, it is not recommended to sterilize the water body for the disinfection of Vibrio, should be given priority to the bottom of the disinfection. After 12-18 hours, the probiotics are supplemented in liquid form, and the probiotics are evenly distributed into the water by running the oxygen machine, which can reduce the concentration of vibrio and facilitate the cultivation of probiotics to form the dominant population.
4. Use safe drugs for prevention and control
Eucabiotics (eucalyptus essential oil) from Australia's unique growth more of eucalyptus leaf extract ,rich in abundant 1, 8 - eucalyptus evvh, single terpene, sesquiterpenes, alcohol, ester, aldehyde, ketone, natural active ingredients, such as a variety of ingredients synergy, strong penetrability and permeability, can destroy the cell membrane of bacteria, make the nutrients in the cells flow out to kill bacteria.
