How to Avoid Building an Echo Chamber on LinkedIn, Facebook, or Instagram

How to Avoid Building an Echo Chamber on LinkedIn, Facebook, or Instagram

Algorithms feed on consistent repeatable patterns and signals.

Keep this in mind when you think about what you engage with others and consume on social media.

Believe it or not, you have a choice in how you design your online spaces to work for you as a consumer of information.

Are you consuming useful and insightful information when on social media?

Are you following people who sharpen your perspective by stretching your imagination, challenging you to think, or share new information with you?

Don't live in an echo chamber of information that prevents you from building a layered and diverse perspective.

I highly encourage all professionals to learn more about how algorithms work and the nuances of AI tech when it comes to social media.

You are in control of what you consume and most importantly, what you produce, follow, and endorse.

AI is only a symptom of transformation.

The true transformation lies in shifting the mindset of people to become creators, conscious consumers, and to live with an open mind.

Absolutely agreed, Tim! Nothing stops us from creating engaging and unique content on various social media platforms but ourselves.
