HOW TO BUILD LEADS THROUGH YOUR LINKEDIN COMPANY PAGE

Did you know there is a “Following” feed you can manage on your LinkedIn Company Page? You can use this to generate targeted leads for your small business.

Even better, if you haven’t mastered content creation yet, this method of lead generation requires minimal post preparation!

The Following feed can be used to connect with relevant profiles and can be much more useful than your “regular” news feed shown through your LinkedIn Profile.

For one it can be more targeted and focussed and two, it is where you can find more second degree connections too!

So let’s get into it…

How to Set up the “Following” Feed

  • Go to your LinkedIn Page then choose Feed, you will see your Page’s content.
  • Click on the Following button (see image below) to show the updates from the Pages your Page follows.

  • Build Pages your ideal clients follow eg businesses, societies, professional development and so on.

NOTE:

If you haven’t followed any Pages (remember: as your Page not your Profile)

  • Click on Manage following as you can see on the image and start building your feed-of-leads

  • View the feed and relevant content then click on the Profiles who have liked the content, or commented.

How to Generate Leads from the “Following” Feed

  • View relevant Profiles to see if they are interesting for you
  • Engage with them on the content if it resonates
  • Reach out and connect with Profiles
  • Re-post valuable content from your Page to your Profile
  • Invite Profiles to follow your Company Page using the built in feature (if you don’t know about this please message me to find out)

Why would I use this method for generating leads?

In the LinkedIn Profile news feed you invariably see the same people’s content who you regularly engage with. This is good for engaging with your network and building relationships.

However, we also want to see targeted second degree connections in different networks. This method is perfect.

But why not just use the My Network tab which suggests relevant Profiles?

  • Yes this area is brilliant, but your LinkedIn Company Page feed can be more focussed to your target market.
  • Additionally, profiles can be restricted to certain categories LinkedIn wants to show you on the My Network tab.

So if you want to generate leads through your LinkedIn Page, try this method out and let me know how you get on.

Hope this helps, get in touch if you need LinkedIn consultancy for your business or team. I love helping businesses make the most out of LinkedIn, gain followers, increase engagement and generate leads for long term success.
