How to create video teaching content

COVID-19 has changed just about every aspect of our lives, including how we deliver teaching content at schools and universities. To accommodate the need for social distancing, lecturers are being asked to create video teaching content that students can access via online platforms.

I've been posting online teaching content on YouTube for years. The interesting thing about YouTube its that its a true meritocracy - that is to say, only content that is extremely engaging does well and clocks up the views. The more engaging the content, the more YouTube will promote it in search results. So YouTubers quickly learn about what works and what doesn't work in terms of keeping peoples attention.

I've put together a few tips and tricks in the video below but for those of you that really want to learn more about how to create online video teaching content, I have developed a detailed course that you can find at www.learnmore365.com
