One of the holy grails for an Enterprise Architect is a document (including or accompanied by diagrams and spreadsheets) that captures everything in the Information Technology domain of the organisation.

This core EA artefact is the current-state Enterprise Architecture & Technology Document, abbreviated to EATD.

As everything in an organisation starts with the demand and supply of goods or services, Enterprise Architects must also begin there for their artefacts, including the EATD. This makes it relevant, relatable, vital, and a fount of value for a range of stakeholders in the organisation.
